New York – Tom Healy has resigned as president of the Home Fashions International (HFI) division of Westgate, effective Sept. 30, 2006, citing personal reasons.
Healy has served as HFI president for more than three years.
Healy’s replacement will be named in the near future, according to David Li, ceo of Home Furnishing International, the parent company of Home Fashions International (HFI), American Decorative Fabrics (ADF), and Westgate Interiors. The company recently unified its corporate identity under the Westgate brand and has launched a major marketing and promotional initiative.
“Tom has made significant and valuable contributions to the growth of our company over the past three years,” Li comments. “He has been instrumental in overseeing our expansion beyond the bedroom ensemble category into a variety of other home fashions. We appreciate his efforts, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Li says the company will continue its extensive development under the direction of a cadre of gifted and capable executives, including Neil Zuber, executive vp and head of the decorative accessories division; Tom Coughlin, evp and general manager for bedding and window treatments; Jack Cobb, president of the ADF division; and Mark Knight, evp of Westgate Interiors.
We would love your feedback!
