Beacon promotes Wooding to senior vp, national sales mgr.

Swannanoa, NC — Blanket industry veteran Harvey Wooding, who joined Beacon Blankets in September as senior vp of national accounts, has been promoted to senior vp and national sales manager, a new position at the company.

"It's a better way to use Harvey's considerable talents and experience," said Tedd Smith, Beacon president.

Kenny Hines, a member of the management team that led a recent buyout of the blanket producer from former owner Pillowtex Corp., remains executive vp of sales and marketing.
