Jones joins HSN

St. Petersburg, FL — The Great Indoors veteran Kassie Jones has joined television network retailer HSN as vp, soft home, reporting to Marty Nealon, evp, merchandising.

Jones told HTT she had enjoyed her experience at The Great Indoors, where, as vp, gmm, soft lines, she was one of the five people to start the Sears' format, but the opportunities at HSN appealed to her. "This is the way consumers shop today," she added, especially with the popularity of such television venues as HGTV and Trading Spaces, which she herself is addicted to.

HSN's "new, innovative thinking caught my eye," she added, and her strategy going forward will "make it easier for the customer to decorate."

Jones replaces Anita Iodice, who left several months ago.
