Pawtucket, R.I. -- Braided texture rug manufacturer cmi (Colonial Mills Inc.) has crated another collection of area rugs under the Sunbrella indoor-outdoor brand.
The new domestically made grouping, titled Renaissance, employs recycled Sunbrella yarn stemming from Glen Raven Custom Fabric's Renaissance Recycling program. They are made in a flat-braid construction and are reversible.
Said by cmi to be the only rug on the market made of 100% Sunbrella fiber, the indoor-outdoor, rectangular rugs of the Renaissance collection employ the "inherent fade and stain resistance, styling sophistication and ease of cleaning characteristics of the popular performance material."
These rugs are made for use on decks, porches, patios and poolside as well as kitchens, dining areas, family rooms, sunrooms and bathrooms.
Renaissance rugs are available in six patterns -- Banded Diamond, Harwood stripe (pictured at left,) Chatham stripe, serged border, outer border and solid -- and 12 yarn colorways, including mink, mushroom, garnet, pumpkin, granite, ebony, basil, feldspar, cornflower, papyrus, wheat and alpaca
