Scully Resigns From Saks

Birmingham, Ala. —
James Scully, Saks Incorporated's executive vice president of human resources and strategic planning since April 2004, has resigned.
Doug Coltharp, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will oversee strategic planning, and Paul Shore, senior vice president of human resources, will assume responsibility for the human resources area, according to the company.
Coltharp has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer since he joined the company in 1996.
Shore was promoted to vice president of human resources and then to his current post of senior vice president of human resources in 2001.
