High Point, N.C. — The second home furnishings charity calendar, “Women of the Trade,” will debut at the October Int'l Home Furnishings Market. Makeup, poses and black-and-white pix will evoke the 1930s and '40s, said Ray McKinnon, chairman of sponsor Basbleu.
Featured women: Claire Goldhagen, Robb & Stucky, Fort Myers, Fla.; Britt Albright, Henredon Furniture; Caroline Hipple, Storehouse, Atlanta; Jene Hall, Aspenhome; Ellen Gefen, Gefen Productions; Jennifer White, Valdese Weavers; Michele McCreary, McCreary Modern; Elaine Bolick, Paladin Furniture; Jackie Hirschhaut, American Furniture Alliance; Donna Kaiser, Donna Kaiser Designs; and Connie Post, Connie Post Companies.
Men of the Cloth, the first project, raised $60,000 for families in and outside of the industry, McKinnon stated.
