Group 3 taps Zanger, Santaniello

NEW YORK —

Group 3 Design Corp. has hired Paula Zanger as design director for the Royal Velvet Brand and appointed Joelle Santaniello as design director for the re-launch of the Cannon and Cannon Royal Family brands.

As the Royal Velvet Brand design director, Zanger will originate and present the central creative vision of the brand for color, design and trends across the spectrum of products and categories to be produced by licensees of the brand. Zanger reports to John Hall, vice president of brand development for the Royal Velvet Brand at Group 3 Design.

Her credentials include creating collections in bed and bath, dinnerware, wall coverings, decorative fabrics and licensed stationery. Zanger's work has been produced for her own label as well as under license to other companies.

In her new position, Santaniello will provide design direction, along with pattern and color trend support to all of Cannon's licensee partners for the development and global marketing of soft and hard product categories. She reports to Amy Rosenblatt, vice president of brand development at Group 3 Design.

Santaniello previously worked as a design manager for Waverly Inc.'s licensing division, before which she spent over three months traveling the islands of the South Pacific.
