WestPoint Teams with Tactix

New York —WestPoint Home has signed a licensing agreement with Tactix Towels to produce a luxury towel line for select department and specialty stores.

Tactix is a patented, engineered toweling brand made from fibers 30 times finer than cotton, according to the company. WestPoint will manufacture and distribute the product, which boasts the properties of high absorption, softness and color retention.

“We look forward to developing the Tactix Towel collection and are confident that the breakthrough technology will make the product a success,” said WestPoint Home ceo Joe Pennacchio.

Created in 2003, Tactix, LLC invented and patented unique technology for advanced moisture management and a variety of superior towel features. Tactix plans to expand its line to athletic toweling, infant care, automotive cleaning, pet products and hospital supplies.
