CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA —
While known for its fashionable prints, luxury bedding manufacturer Yves Delorme will bow its Palace collection this market, a group of classic neutrals in pure and elegant designs.
Four monochromatic styles comprise the ensemble, using fabrics like sateen, Egyptian cotton and linen and such details as hemstitching, bourdon stitching and jacquard weaving. Three of the designs are of 500-count Egyptian combed cotton, while the fourth is in pure linen. And each pattern has coordinating bath and throw accessories. Everything is produced in France and is available in full, queen and king sizes, though fitted sheets also come in California King.
The Etoile group adorns smooth cotton sheets with half-inch hemstitching, in the classic jour échelle croisé or jour Venise. Available in white and ecru, the sheets will retail for $320 for a full/queen flat sheet and $535 for a full/queen duvet.
Etoile also has coordinating bath accessories, though they complement any of the groups. The towels have a sophisticated woven stripe, and the robe is adorned with the same jour Venise hemstitching as the bed linens. Both are available in white, ecru and stone.
Plaza contains small jacquard woven checks on the body of the flat sheet, shams and duvet cover, with sateen borders set off by bourdon stitching. This group, available in either white or ecru, will retail for $215 for a full/queen flat sheet and $430 for a full/queen duvet.
Indra uses a border edged with delicate picot stitching to frame a jacquard woven design of stylized palm fronds, in either white or ecru. A flat full/queen sheet will retail for $266, and a full/queen duvet will be $475.
Bastide is the collection's linen offering, and the white sheets are finished with a double row of elegant picot stitching. A flat full/queen sheet will retail for $365, while the duvet will be $515.
The collection's wool throw is of a creamy white on a snow white jacquard design and retails for $208.
In addition to the Palace collection, the company will also premiere 17 new prints at market.
We would love your feedback!
