Rho, Italy — The 8th annual Scoperta is being held May 9 - 12 in its new home at the recently opened Fiera Milano fairgrounds here, outside Milan.
With 116 exhibitors — a 53 percent increase over 2005 — the show occupies 4,470 square meters, a 47 percent growth in space. Fourteen countries are represented, and Italy has the largest representation with 35 companies in attendance. Overall, there are 54 new exhibitors.
One of the new developments at Scoperta is Scoperta Creativa, a theater of trends dedicated to design and creativity as well as the trend forum. The trend forum has been developed by “the seed” — a global creative team in collaboration with select partners and BLUE FOX NedGraphics. There will be three design stations for 3D-graphic, textiles and visual designers working throughout the daily workshops.
Scoperta management provides bus transportation to and from the exhibition and the concurrent Proposte fabric show in Cernobbio at Villa Erba. The buses run every 30 minutes for the 35-minute ride.
We would love your feedback!
