828 names new vp, sales

GREENVILLE, SC —

Area rug import house 828 International Trading Co. has appointed Len Andolino its new vp, sales.

He replaces Steve Roan, who recently left the company to join West Warwick, RI-based Central Oriental as vp, sales.

Andolino reports jointly to Jim Clardy, president, and John Shepherd, ceo.

In his new position, Andolino will focus on increasing 828's sales and market share by working with existing dealers and building new business with specialty retailers and national accounts.

Andolino brings more than 17 years of experience in the home textiles industry to 828. Most recently, he was national sales manager for F. Schumacher & Company's fabric and wallcovering division. Prior to that, Andolino worked for two years as president of Costikyan Carpet and seven years as vp, sales and marketing for Stanton Carpet Corp.
