NRF hires Hogan as new sr. vp, chief info officer

WASHINGTON, DC —
David Hogan III has joined the National Retail Federation as senior vp, chief information officer, effective Jan. 6.
Reporting to president Tracy Mullin, Hogan will serve as part of NRF's executive management team, managing both internal and external technology needs. The NRF also said that he will lead and manage the organization's CIO Council, a committee with membership comprising leading retail company cios, as well as work closely with NRF's Association for Retail Technology Standards.
Hogan was most recently at international retailer Duty Free Americas, where he served for more than three years as vp and cio.
He replaces Don Gilbert, who is no longer with the company.
