Garmyn slated as director at H. Douglas

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ -Hunter Douglas Window Fashions announced the appointment of Keith Garmyn to the newly created position of director of operations for the Hunter Douglas Manufacturing Group.

Garmyn will report directly to Hurly Mitchell, president of the group. "Garmyn will be working closely with Beth Hunt, vp, operations, and all of the manufacturing group operations," Mitchell said. "In this new position, Garmyn will be key in accelerating the development and implementation of proven business processes, such as inventory optimization and supply chain management."

Garmyn joined Hunter Douglas as materials manager for the Honeycomb Business Unit in 1999. He has also held positions with Volant Sports, Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Walgreen Company.
