Waverly names new fabric vp

New York — Tom Leahy has joined Waverly Lifestyle Group as vp, fabric. He reports to Dale Williams, president and general manager, Waverly Lifestyle Group, and succeeds Arthur Friedman, who has left the company.
Leahy is responsible for fabric sales to independent retailers, manufacturers, jobbers, furniture, export and Canada. Formerly vp, sales for Cranston Consumer Products, a division of Cranston Print Works, he earlier was president of the company's Cranston Home Fashions. He also served as vp, sales for the home decorative market for Cranston's VIP Fabrics.
