Linon Home Decor Expands High Point Showroom

Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/27/2009 12:00:00 AM

Home accessories and furniture supplier Linon Home Décor Products Inc. is expanding its showroom in time for the High Point Market this month.

The space is located at 220 Elm Street in suite 202. It is growing by 5,000 square feet, bringing the total showroom size to 18,000 square feet.

"With the addition of the rug division and expansion of our wall art programs, the additional space was needed to properly display these products for our customers and reconfirm our commitment to these categories," said Jim Ziozis, president.

Linon, which was founded as a furniture supplier, added area rugs to its assortment in January. The line comprises a broad offering of constructions and styles, including flokatis, hand-tufted varieties, hand-knotted and shags, among others, in wool and synthetic constructions.

For High Point Market, Linon is highlighting the Southern Living licensed area rug collection in a special 2,500-square-foot section of the showroom. The collection, which already included 70 hand-tufted rug styles spanning traditional and transitional styles in 100% wool, is growing by 40 new hand-tufted and wool rug styles.

To celebrate the newly expanded space, the company is hosting a "Big Fat Greek Party" at 5:30 p.m. on April 27.
