Osterville, MA — The fruits of Claire Murray's year-old partnership with German bedding manufacturer Wilh Wulfing GMBH have ripened.
Murray's first bedding product will hit store shelves during the next few weeks, she told HTT. Murray will initially sell and market all the bedding goods from her upscale stores, catalog and web site — www.ClaireMurray.com.
"But the manufacturer is capable of doing more than one tier of retail," Murray said. "That's the plan."
The line will debut with three collections — By The Sea, Lace Cap Hydrangea and Geranium. Price points have not yet been set but Murray estimates the following costs for queen size: $35 to $50 for sheets; $25 to $30 for standard pillowcases; $30 to $35 for shams; and $75 to $110 for duvets.
