DiPrima moves up at Saks

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Doug DiPrima has been promoted to the newly created post of executive vice president of merchandising for Parisian at Saks Incorporated.

DiPrima has served as Parisian's senior vice president and general merchandise manager of cosmetics, shoes, accessories, intimate apparel, and home since 1998. He joined Parisian in 1986 and has held various merchandising positions of increasing responsibility.

DiPrima gained previous retail experience at Macy's. He will report to George Jones, president and CEO of Saks Department Store Group, and will continue to be based in Birmingham.

David Neri, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of center core and home; Ernest Brown, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of men's and kid's; and David Doub, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of ready-to-wear will report to DiPrima.
