New York — Jia Li Textile launched a new Urban Girl collection of bedding catering to girls 17 to 25 with numerous styles that revolve around 10 design trends including bohemian lifestyle, geometrics and flea market chic, for example.
The quilt and comforter specialist also branched out into higher-end fabrications at the recently held unofficial Mini-Market with all-over embroidered silk, linen and mixed medium designs.
Roughly 20 new comforters and 10 quilts were on display highlighting the company's work in embroidery and pleating.
Also new by the October New York Home Textiles Market will be 10 styles of machine-quilted reversible coverlets in all-cotton solids or florals as well as bedspreads.
The patterns are heavily stitched for a matelasse effect. There are also reversible solid color cotton voile quilts in four contrasting color combinations with blanket stitching.
