P.J. Kids debuts solid color line

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 9/15/2003 12:00:00 AM

P.J. Kids is launching its first line of kids solid-color sheets, covering life stages from crib to a child's first "grown-up" bed.

The line, which will debut during the upcoming market, will be available in crib, twin and full sizes and colors designed to coordinate with the company's bedding ensembles. The Classic Sheet program is made in Brazil of 180-count cotton percale.

"The solids enhance the bedding programs that we have and allow the parent to purchase an extra set of sheets that will coordinate with what they are buying from a decorative standpoint," said Vasso Unks, marketing director. "They can still keep the theme of the room. but will be able to have a couple of options for sheets."

All three sizes will be available in Malibu blue, sunny yellow, pretty in pink, cloud blue and sweet lilac. Brights available in twin and full only include sizzle red and meadow green.

Crib sheets will be available as a fitted sheet retailing at $19. Three-piece twin sets will retail for $59, and four-piece full sets will retails for $79.
