Cupron Licenses London Luxury

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/21/2008 12:00:00 AM

Bed and bath supplier London Luxury has obtained the exclusive home textiles license with Cupron Inc. and will launch a full range of the copper-infused products in the second half of 2008 at a major national retailer, the companies said.

The Cupron branded line from London Luxury will include sheets, pillows, pillow protectors, pillow cases, comforters, and blankets of all sizes, as well as bath and beach towels, robes, slippers and bath rugs.

"London Luxury's Cupron copper-infused bed and bath products are designed using Cupron's state-of-the-art patented copper technology," said Marc Jason, ceo, London Luxury.

"Copper found in the body is an essential nutrient for the skin. Scientific testing has demonstrated a dramatically significant reduction of the appearance of facial wrinkles, crows feet, fine lines, and improvements in overall appearance of facial skin when sleeping on Cupron every night for four weeks," said Gadi Borkow Ph.D., chief medical scientist, Cupron.

In addition to the cosmetic benefits of Cupron, the fabric and fibers are scientifically proven to kill the bacteria, fungus, and microbes that cause odor. In addition, the properties of the fiber never wash out.

In other news, several of London Luxury's allergen-barrier products have been certified asthma- and allergy-friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA).

"We pride ourselves on manufacturing only the highest quality products that allow consumers to have a healthy and sound night's sleep, so we are thrilled to receive accolades for our superior quality bedding," said Jason.

The AAFA Certification Mark is granted only to select products that have undergone thorough scientific testing and proven more suitable to individuals suffering from asthma and allergic sensitivities.

The London Luxury products incorporate materials and construction that function "as an effective and proven barrier to dust mite, pet dander and other allergens, while still maintaining the highest levels of comfort and luxuriousness," the company said.
