Neiman merger meeting set

DALLAS -- The Neiman Marcus Group, Inc. will hold a special meeting of stockholders on Aug. 16 to vote on the proposed acquisition of the company by a group of private equity funds.
Neiman expects to complete the merger during the last calendar quarter of 2005, subject to shareholder approval.
