ATLANTA —
The Home Depot kicked off its new national advertising campaign yesterday, with a 60-second branding spot during the 45th Annual "Grammy Awards" show on CBS. Based on the theme, "The Home Depot is more than a store — You can do it. We can help," pitches the idea that the retailer is more than a store, it's a place where they can gain self-confidence. Initially on television with 30- and 60-second spots, the campaign will eventually expand to include radio, print, collateral materials and the Internet. The company has said that it will increase its marketing support this year.
