Nourison offers Rug Boutique in-store display

Saddle Brook, N.J. – Responding to retailers’ concerns in displaying area rugs – cost, space and return on investment – Nourison this month rolled out a compact but comprehensive Rug Boutique merchandising rug display system.

The self-service shopping display showcases about 100 area rug designs of all available shapes and sizes, representing more than 600 skus in total, in a space-efficient manner. Rug Boutique measures less than eight feet tall and occupies about seven linear feet, or 20 square feet, of floor space.

The flexible system allows customized assortments; Nourison said retailers can alter the assortment “frequently” based on shoppers’ changing demands. The supplier quick-ships products directly from its warehouse here.

The Rug Boutique also features point-of-purchase boards with details about the products and guidance on decorating and finding the right size.
