Kas Rugs names two in sales

Somerset , N.J. – Kas Rugs recently appointed Don Newton vp, sales and marketing, and Brandon Culpepper to the national sales manager post.

Newton ’s focus in his new stint is on marketing to national retail accounts. A veteran of the floor covering industry for the past 27 years, he was previously with Orian Rugs as vp of sales and prior to that at Milliken. Newton reports to Rao Yarlagadda, president.

Culpepper, who reports to Newton , manages all regional managers and independent sales agents in his new position. He has 10 years of experience in the rug industry, and most recently worked for Dalyn Rugs as regional manager for the Southeast and West regions.

“Both bring great opportunities for Kas to expand its distribution and take us to the next level of business,” Yarlagadda said.
