Foamex ceo exits

Linwood, Pa. -- Foamex International has named Raymond Mabus interim president and ceo, replacing Thomas Chorman, who has resigned. Mabus was already chairman of the board of directors.
The board has also established a search committee to select a permanent president and ceo. Mabus said, "On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to thank Tom for his many contributions to Foamex over the past four very challenging years and wish him well in his future endeavors."
Foamex, which is working on emerging from Chapter 11, also said executive vp, chief restructuring officer and general counsel Gregory Christian will assume additional responsibilities for IT, procurement and manufacturing technology as chief administrative officer, and will serve on the board.
