Concord plants a stake in Atlanta

NEW YORK -- Turkish area rug company Concord Global Trading has moved into a permanent showroom space at the AmericasMart in Atlanta.
Located in United Weavers’ former spot, the showroom is in space 4-C-9 and measures about 2,700 square feet.It marks the company’s second U.S. showroom location, the first being at 295 Fifth Ave. Concord, a five-year-old manufacturer of machine-made area rugs fromTurkey, specializes in heat-set styles but will soon start weaving wool rugs.
