SECAUCUS, NJ —
Noonoo Rug Company, based here, a division of Millennium Textile Design Ltd., has partnered with fellow area rug manufacturer Radici USA to sell and market new collections of area rugs.
Spartanburg, SC-based Radici is a licensee of Millennium, which licenses its designs for area rugs. To date, Radici has licensed three collections from Millennium: Bergamo, a wool blend, that was introduced in January at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market; Taormina, 100 percent wool, which will be introduced at the High Point market in October; and Positano, a nylon space-dyed collection, which will be introduced in January 2002 at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market.
To "assist Radici in selling and marketing those and future collections," Noonoo president Eugene Newman said, Noonoo will offer space with signage in its three showrooms — Atlanta; High Point, NC; and to Radici for the collections it licenses with Millennium.
"We have certain customers that [Radici] doesn't so this partnership is a good fit for both companies," Newman said.
Newman added that the partnership includes future collections.
