Neiman Marcus taps two

Dallas — James Skinner has been named senior vp, cfo and Marita O'Dea vp, human resources, at The Neiman Marcus Group.

Both executives will report directly to president and ceo Burton Tansky.

Skinner will assume responsibility for the finance, accounting, planning, treasury, tax, internal audit, and investor relations functions. He was most recently senior vp, cfo of CapRock Communications Corp., based here.

Skinner replaces John Cook, who will resign from his position as a result of the termination of the management services agreement.

O'Dea will retain her current responsibility as senior vp, human resources, of Neiman Marcus Stores in addition to her new responsibilities as vp, human resources, for The Neiman Marcus Group.
