HomePlace's Chapter 11 announcement added to the woes of several vendors last week, as they watched the monies owed them mount.

Though this chart only includes money owed creditors of HomePlace and Strouds, other vendors have suffered with the announcements of Bradlees and Montgomery Wards.

Bradlees has not yet filed dollar amounts with the bankruptcy court, but Springs and WestPoint Stevens are two of its top creditors. Burlington Industries was the only home textiles company on Montgomery Ward's creditor list, owed an amount of $1,021,000.
