Sleep Innovations gels with Edizone

West Long Branch, NJ — Basic bedding manufacturer Sleep Innovations has signed a 10-year licensing agreement with Edizone, inventors of Intelli-gel gel, which Sleep Innovations has incorporated into a wide line of products.

The agreement gives Sleep Innovations the exclusive rights to manufacture the gel material as well as to manufacture and market products incorporating it.

During the recent home textiles market in October, Sleep Innovations unveiled its new line, Novaform Gel, which utilizes Edizone's gel and 5-pound visco-elastic foam. The line includes mattress toppers as well as a wide variety of sleep, travel and contour pillows. It is scheduled to ship in February 2003.

The gel itself is protected under four patents, said Sleep Innovations, and also has additional patents pending.
