Hellenic Rug moving into bigger room

ATLANTA —

Hellenic Rug Imports Inc., a manufacturer of handmade and power-loomed area rugs, is moving into a 3,000-square-foot showroom at the Area Rug Center at the AmericasMart here. The new space, which is under construction and will be ready for the Rug Show in July, will be double the size of the company's current space.

Hellenic also has extended its long-term lease agreement with the AmericasMart through 2007.

A permanent exhibitor since 1999 and a Market Temporaries exhibitor for several years prior to that, Hellenic is remaining on the sixth floor, next to its current showroom.

In celebration of the new space, Hellenic will host a grand opening gala, with a complimentary cocktail buffet of Greek foods in honor of the company's roots during the Atlanta International Area Rug Show, which takes place July 13.
