Maples Intros Plushest Bath Rugs

At the New York Market — Maples Industries is introducing its softest and plushest bath rug collection yet, with the addition of the Royal Velvet "Big & Soft" collection.

This exclusive line is made using the latest Invista-branded fiber system offering — Comforel Two Point 99, a technology created by Invista that allows for a softer, bulkier and denser bath rug. The measurement is based on grams per meter. Previous systems reached 4 and 8, but the 2.99 is the finest, making for a softer, thicker feeling.

Maples created the collection in 24 solid and textured colorways, both in bright and dull luster. They are made to directly coordinate with Royal Velvet's Big & Soft bedding collection.

"In order to combine the very best in aesthetics with superior softness, we selected the new Comforel Two Point 99 fiber system for this collection," Wade Maples, owner and president of Maples, told HTT. "The feedback we've received from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive."

These bath rugs come in five sizes. A 2-by-3 is set to retail for $24.99. This collection is in line with Maples' nylon offerings — all of which are from Invista.
