Shaw shifts High Point showroom

Dalton, GA — Shaw Rugs has moved to a larger and more strategic location, showroom 204, at the Market Square rug market in High Point, NC.

The new space is 6,000 square feet — more than three times the size of Shaw's original High Point showroom, an 1,800-square-foot space the company leased in the furniture area of High Point's International Home Furnishings Center for the past five years.

"Our business is so much bigger today than it was back then when we signed the original lease that we've outgrown that showroom," Jeff Meadows, division vp, told HTT. "We've also grown through our signature license programs with Martha Stewart, Kathy Ireland and Tommy Bahama, which we didn't have before. To be able to launch those programs is impossible in a 1,800-square-foot space. Now we have a better shopping environment."
