Lattie Picked to Lead AATCC

Robert Lattie, whose involvement with the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) spans three decades, has been named incoming president of the industry association for 2005.
Currently the director of product management at SDL Atlas, Lattie has served the company in a variety of research, engineering and sales positions. He began his career in textiles in 1966 when he joined the Atlas Electric Devices Company following college.
A senior member of the AATCC since 1984, Lattie most recently acted as treasurer for the Midwest AATCC. He has served as Midwest chairman, as a member of the AATCC's Executive Research Committee and has chaired a number of committees, including the International Test Methods Committee and the ANSI Accredited U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC38, Textiles.
