NEW YORK —
Apparel Holdings Group has signed a new license with Dan River Inc. for the manufacture, selling, and distribution of furnishings and home textiles under the Caribbean Joe label.
According to the terms of agreement, the Caribbean Joe Home line will be available in department and specialty stores in spring 2005.
Caribbean Joe Home, which will debut during the New York Home Textiles Market in October, will be a collection consisting of a range of domestic textiles including bedding, bath accessories, decorative throws, pillows, accent rugs, and beach-related products.
"Teaming up with Dan River Inc. will enable us to reach the consumer on a multitude of levels, incorporating Caribbean Joe into their lifestyle beyond their wardrobe, and into their living space," stated Jonathan Spier, CEO of Apparel Holdings Group.
"We are excited about the new relationship we have entered into with AHG licensing," said Dan Hammer, executive vice president of Dan River Inc. "The brand they have developed truly reflects today's casual lifestyle, and we are happy to be in a position to translate that feeling into the home."
