Hasper Joins Soft-Tex

As Soft-Tex Manufacturing continues to expand its branded lineup of bed pillows, mattress pads, featherbeds and memory foam products, Eric Hasper has been named product manager, with responsibility for design and development of the Royal Velvet program. He will report to Arthur Perry, president and co-owner of Soft-Tex.

Royal Velvet is a license recently acquired by Soft-Tex for poly-filled bed pillows, mattress pads and memory foam products, all strong categories for the company.

Hasper has worked for 17 years in home textiles, most recently as a buyer with Filene's Department Stores. He has served on the May Company's steering committee for product development.

Hasper said he is glad to join Soft-Tex and "fortunate to be able to design and set up their new showroom in the 230 Fifth Avenue Market Center Building. It's going to be a great place to show all of our new designs."
