Balta readies new rugs for Domotex

Dalton, Ga. – The Balta Group, parent of area rug house Balta US based here, will unveil several new programs and collections during the next month’s Domotex trade fair in Hanover, Germany.

The focus for Balta’s new area rug offerings will be tonal palettes, “serenity, and natural elements,” the company said.

In the polypropylene category, there are two new additions: Sofia and Katharina. Sofia represents the company’s foray into chenille styles. Katharina wears gold, olive green and chocolate brown and employs the palette on traditional and modern designs.

Also new in this construction is the launch of flat-woven styles.

In wool and heat-set varieties, new products include extensions of the Extra Frisé carved collection titled Da Vinci, as well as the debut of of a new collection of high-end rugs that employ soft yarns.

Additions to the Line A acrylic construction include the launch of the Diamond Shaggy collection of polyester shag rugs, as well as a new collection that combines acrylic with polypropylene frisé.

The booths for Balta Rugs and all other Balta divisions wil be located in Hall 7, booth C28.
