Creative Home adds Koons to sales team

Edison, N.J. -- Creative Home Ideas/YMF Carpet has hired Tim Koons, a 25-year veteran of the soft floor covering industry, to join its sales team.

Koons was formerly with Ex-Cell Home Fashions/Glenoit, working in sales.

In his new stint, he is assigned to oversee sales in the Western U.S. and Canada regions for CHI’s complete line of soft and hard flooring products, including accent, area, kitchen, utility and bath rugs as well as tile and laminate flooring.

CHI/YMF said it has been actively searching for “strong representation on the West Coast” for more than two years.

“I have had the pleasure to work with Tim in the past and I know that he will help us become an important resource on the West Coast very quickly,” said David Gindi, national sales manager.

Creative Home Ideas owns and operates its own rug and carpet manufacturing facility in Langfang, China. The company’s corporate offices and East Coast distribution-and-replenishment facility are based here. Its West Coast distribution-and-replenishment site is in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

CHI/YMF also operates its showroom and sales and marketing offices in New York City at 295 Fifth Ave.
