Nishat Mills recruits Yerg for U.S. Business

Lahore, Pakistan – Nishat Mills Ltd. has recruited Ray Yerg as svp – home textile division, with responsibility for the development and growth of the Nishat Home Textiles business in the United States.

A 25-year veteran of the industry, Yerg was most recently svp of the bath division at WestPoint Home, a company he joined in 1982.

The Nishat Group is among the leading business conglomerates in Pakistan. The group operates in four core businesses: textiles, cement manufacturing, banking, and power generation.

Nishat Mills Ltd., the flagship company of the group, is one of the largest vertical textile mills, with 27 manufacturing facilities spread over a 100-mile radius. The company produces yarns and fabrics as well as a full range of bedding, kitchen textiles, window treatments and related soft home décor. The home textile division recently shifted to a 75-acre campus in Lahore with state-of-the-art equipment.
