Irvin new senior vp at JCPenney

PLANO, TX -John Irvin has been named senior vp, J.C. Penney Co., and president of catalog and Internet.

Irvin was formerly president and ceo of Spiegel Catalog, a unit of Spiegel Group.

Irvin, who reports to Vanessa Castagna, corporate executive vp and president and coo for JCPenney stores, catalog and Internet, succeeds Randy Ronning, who has joined QVC.

Earlier, Irvin was with Mervyn's as senior vp, gmm, and previously was president of Maison Blanche.

In addition, B. D. Feiwus has been named senior vp and associate director of catalog, reporting to Irvin. He will direct development of catalog merchandising, operations, marketing, advertising publication, objectives and strategies.

Feiwus joins Penney from eRewards.com, where he served as president. Previously, he was president of Brierley & Partners, a Dallas-based direct marketing company.
