Manual Woodworkers launches own baby and children’s brand, “Izzy”

-- Home Textiles Today, 6/16/2009 10:37:00 AM

Hendersonville, N.C. – Manual Woodworkers & Weavers (MWW) has created a new brand it calls “Izzy” for its baby and children’s items.

The company said it serves as the umbrella for its “comprehensive collection of all of our children’s products.”

The line, which includes baby throws, aprons and totes among other decorative pieces, is featured in MWW’s newly released fall 2009 Izzy catalog. It comprises “a blend of best sellers and classics as well as some items and vibrant designs,” the company noted.

The new products featured in the catalog include: Plush Dot and Plush Stripe baby throws made of chenille and available in pink, blue and green; Block-to-Block two-layer cotton throws available in purple, blue, green and pink; and Tiny Talk fleece throws and travel blankies that feature a satin binding and a variety of playful expressions such as “Does this diaper make my butt look bigger?” and “Official milk tester.” The items coordinate with cotton burp cloths.
