Huffco adding facilities, new showroom

STOCKTON, CA —

Floor mat maker and importer Huffco Manufacturing is expanding with the opening of two East Coast facilities and a new showroom in New York.

Huffco recently opened a new distribution center in Philadelphia, allowing it to provide nationwide distribution for major chain stores at reduced freight costs, according to Don Droesch, vp, sales and marketing.

Another manufacturing facility in Montreal is currently under construction and is expected to be up and running by mid-year.

"[These two facilities] will give Huffco manufacturing capability on both coasts," Droesch said.

Giving the company a venue to display its wares to buyers, Huffco also recently signed a three-year showroom lease for a 937-square-foot space — suite 703 — at 295 Fifth Ave. The company will open its doors during the New York mini-market event, taking place Feb. 3 to 5. The formal opening is slated for the spring market, starting March 28, president and ceo Dale Huff said.
