New WONZ-branded rugs to debut in Las Vegas in January

Marietta, Ga. – Several soft floor covering partners of Wools of New Zealand will be presenting their new branded wares in Las Vegas in January come the newly aligned Surfaces and Las Vegas World Market events.
Many such suppliers will additionally be launching products carrying Wools of New Zealand’s new Laneve brand, representing wool that comes from farms meeting superior sustainable standards that are accredited and traceable back to source.
Bloomsburg Carpet, in booth No. 4728 at Surfaces, will show its first Wools of New Zealand Laneve-branded product, which it calls Wool Shear Watercolor. This is a 62-ounce, 1/8-gauge, tufted random tip shear design interpreted in nine soft pastel shades.
Couristan, in Surfaces booth No. 5300, will launch Saybrook, Carlyle and Blakely -- all Wilton woven of 100% New Zealand wool and branded by Wools of New Zealand. Available in five colors, these are multi-textured loop designs.
Karastan, which operates a showroom in space C-0896 at the World Market Center, is debuting its Woven Impressions collection of rugs. It is also expanding its Original Karastan collection to include two new patterns -- Persian Garden and Bella Rosa. The Woven Impressions collection features three transitional looks that can coordinate or stand alone. The patterns are: Beaded Curtain, a contemporary look; Diamond Ikat, a geometric lattice; and Vintage Batik, an elegant lace look.
Radici USA, in Surfaces booth No. 4726, is introducing two Wools of New Zealand brand products -- Piazza Vecchia and Colleoni. Both are Wilton woven on jacquard looms in a multi-level cut-and-loop texture.
Shaw Living, in World Market Center showroom C-807, will feature new designs in three rug collections that carry the Wools of New Zealand brand. Coventry is a traditional Kashan design of classic flowers, vines, and leaves that has been added to the Arabesque collection of machine woven rugs. Blake, a classic chic Zebra motif, joins the Pacifica collection of machine-made with hand-carved accents. And Florabundance is an over-scale floral addition to the Structure collection of machine-tufted of 100% New Zealand wool in the United States.
Sphinx by Oriental Weavers USA, in Surfaces booth No. 5116, will introduce Knightsbridge, a collection of Axminster rugs woven with 100% New Zealand wool. With up to 117 color variations, Knightsbridge includes patterns inspired by museum quality, antique rugs.
WONZ noted that all of the products listed have passed numerous tests to carry the Wools of New Zealand Brand.
