Hoffmann Estates, Ill. — —
Hoffmann Estates, Ill. — Sears has launched Everyday Luxe, a bedding program of better quality and value, on its Internet site. It is in the process of being rolled out to all its stores.
The program, modeled after the format hotel collections, features six beds with a variety of comforter sets, duvets and coverlets. The collection “is an expansion of the home fashions line,” said Corinne Gudovic, a company spokeswoman. The move upwards in price point, she added, enables the retailer “to have something for everybody.”
Typical price points are $99.99 for the queen 500 count cotton sheet set, and a duvet for $149.99 full/queen. The comforter set retails for $299.99.
The six patterns — Marseille, Lille, St. Tropez, Limoges, Avignon and Monaco — are offered with a variety of bedding accessories including Pima cotton blankets and bed pillows. Bath items will be offered soon, Gudovic added.
Everyday Luxe is one of a series of new programs planned as part of the home textiles reset that includes new Ty Pennington merchandise as well as a new program in the moderate area.
