Springs adds exec. vp, cfo

FORT MILL, SC —
Springs Industries, which recently was taken private, announced the hiring of Kenneth Kutcher as the company's executive vp and cfo.
Kutcher had been working for Greif Bros., an industrial packaging company, as cfo and secretary. He has also served as cfo for Celanese Chemical and Trevira.
Kutcher will report directly to Crandall Bowles, president, ceo.
"Having been close to this industry and Springs in my previous roles, I am delighted to now be a part of Springs," Kutcher said. "This is an exciting time for the company, and I look forward to making significant contributions to Crandall's team."
