The gray goods manufacturer's inaugural line of moderately priced finished bedding from its new Ellison division consists of 16 print ensembles and two embroidered beds. Goods will be branded under two labels: Ellison for specialty and department stores; Arial for mass market stores. The new line includes nine 180-count beds with youth appeal. Jungle Fever, a blue and green print featuring monkeys on the top of the bed, coordinates with sheets printed with bright jungle fruits. Jelly Bean tells a pink story, with colorful flower prints on the comforter, coordinating with jelly bean prints. Happiness Is employs a bright rainbow and cloud motif. Adult 180 beds include: Whispurr, a strong neutral that coordinates a print of jungle cats on the top of the bed with animal print and geometric coordinates; Lakota, a Southwestern motif that makes strong use of red; Beckett, a dark blue and neutral in a large diamond print; Bali, a light, sea frond print in neutral tones; Oceanis, a novelty bed with a variety of shells printed on a light-blue ground; and San Tropez, a tropical novelty bed depicting palm trees and sail boats. Beds with 200-count components include: Glendale, a white floral motif available in two colorways (gray and lilac); Lonai, a big floral and frond print in two colorways (celedon and sand); Morning Breeze, a lilac and misty blue floral; Kashmir, a robust black and gold statement coordinating with a foulard; and Merona Stripe, also grounded in black but melding lilac, purples and neutrals into the ombre design. Two of the 200-count bed ensembles use photographic floral design: Gerber Daisy, a bright, youthful look coordinating with yellow gingham sheeting; Wild Rose, a more mature, master look in a peach hue; and Annette, a softly toned combination of florals and block prints. The Ellison division also is introducing three embroidered beds: a traditional pattern available in white on white; a swirl pattern in white on white or gold on white; and a pansy pattern using lilac, blue and light green embroidery on white. All comforters in the debut collection are reversible, with the exception of the embroidered patterns. Coordinating window treatments are available with most of the designs.
