Divatex adds Levitt

NEW YORK — Divatex Home Fashions announced that Bob Levitt has joined the company.

Levitt has joined the New York-based home textiles company as marketing manager. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for marketing and product development as well as be involved with Divatex's sourcing and sales. In addition, Levitt will work to expand the top-of-the-bed programs in various fabrications for comforters, bedspreads and duvet covers. He will report directly to Avi Gross, president.

Levitt most recently worked for Hollander Home Fashions as president of its fashion division. Prior to that, he held the position of merchandise manager for Cendant Corporation.
