NEW YORK — The Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) has inaugurated a Web site to provide its members and others with access to the latest news and information about the window covering industry. The address is www.WCMAnet.org.
"With the technical requirements and innovations in window coverings continuing to explode, more and more individuals throughout the industry are seeking to keep abreast of these changes," explains WCMA Executive Director Carolynn Jennings.
She noted that WCMA hopes to expand the Web site's content in the near future.
At present, the site provides information about WCMA membership services and benefits, the association's Product Innovation Awards, access to the ANSI/WCMA A100.0-2002 safety standard for corded window coverings, and links to certain window-covering safety Web sites.
WCMA is a trade association representing the interests of manufacturers, fabricators and assemblers in the window covering industry. The association was founded in the 1950's as the Venetian Blind Council.
