Tomechko tapped as executive vp

DAYTON, OH —

Edward Tomechko has been appointed executive vp, cfo, secretary and treasurer of Elder-Beerman Stores Corp.

In his new position, effective on June 17, Tomechko will report to Byron Bergren, president and ceo. He will assume the responsibilities of Scott Davido, who left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Tomechko was president and ceo of NetRadio Corp., a streaming media technology company. His retail experience includes stints as senior vp and cfo at David's Bridal Inc., County Seat Stores Inc. and Pickwick International.
