New York —
Faribault Mills is launching the licensed Kathy Ireland Home blanket collection, which embraces all eight Style Guides collections as well as the newest Style Guide, Southern Splendor, at the Home Textiles Market here this week.
In addition, blankets will be featured for several of the Kathy Ireland specialty brands: The Quilts of Gee's Bend, a café, and J du J, said Mike Harris, Faribault president.
A range of solid colors in an all-wool and an all-cotton construction will work across all the Style Guides looks. In addition, there will be a signature blanket for each of the Style Guide themes and the specialty brands. “This program allowed us to step out in design,” said Harris. The Style Guides run the gamut of looks from La Vida Buena with Latin American influences, to European Country including English gardens and Provence heritages, and the new Southern Splendor with details from classic Southern motifs.
Among the constructions are a cotton-rich chenille; all-wools in a variety of weights, including a washable wool; all-cottons; Ingeo PLA/wool blends; and a Kuba cloth cotton.
Included in the design effects are tone-on-tones, textured stripes, Mayan details, and textured borders.
Price points focus on moderate but encompass a range.
Faribault also is introducing new colors for its Cannon licensed blanket brand.
We would love your feedback!
